India's Ministry of External Affairs launched a coordinated disaster management response to assist its neighboring nation and locate stranded individuals. Official reports state that over 133 Indian nationals, including tourists and hydropower project workers, went missing during the flash surge. The government has established a round-the-clock emergency control room to streamline communications and provide updates to frantic families. Rescue teams successfully extracted 84 Indian nationals, including a group of 21 tourists from Tamil Nadu. Meanwhile, India has dispatched its second tranche of humanitarian relief materials to Kathmandu. Concurrently, over 200 Indian citizens stranded across the border in Tibet have reached out to consular services requesting immediate evacuation assistance.
