The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) will be held from September 25 to 29 in Greater Noida, with the state aiming to strengthen its position as a global manufacturing, investment, and export destination.
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that the fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) will be organised from September 25 to 29 at the India Expo Centre and Mart in Greater Noida. The event is intended to showcase the state’s industrial capabilities, promote exports, attract investments, and strengthen business partnerships with domestic and international markets.
This year’s trade show will be held under the theme “UP for Global Growth: Innovation, Manufacturing and Exports,” highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s expanding industrial ecosystem and its growing role in India’s manufacturing and export landscape. The event is expected to bring together industries, entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, exporters, and buyers on a common platform.
Organisers have set ambitious participation targets, including more than 2,400 exhibitors, over 1.50 lakh registered business-to-business (B2B) buyers, more than 4.50 lakh business-to-consumer (B2C) visitors, and over 550 international buyers representing 85 countries. The event is also expected to facilitate more than 4,000 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), with proposed agreements valued at over ₹3,200 crore and business enquiries exceeding ₹13,500 crore.
The exhibition will feature a wide range of sectors, including One District One Product (ODOP), One District One Craft (ODOC), MSMEs, electronics and information technology, defence and aerospace, agriculture, tourism, renewable energy, electric vehicles, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food processing, logistics, textiles, handicrafts, leather, furniture, startups, financial services, and civil aviation. The objective is to present Uttar Pradesh’s diverse economic strengths through a single integrated platform.
In addition to business exhibitions, the event will host knowledge sessions focusing on emerging sectors and policy issues. Planned discussions will cover topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, electronics manufacturing, banking and finance, food processing, solid waste management, labour reforms, e-commerce, road safety, global free trade agreements, and MSME development, providing opportunities for industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and explore future collaborations.
The state government is also seeking wider international participation by engaging with several countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. The initiative reflects Uttar Pradesh’s broader strategy of expanding global trade linkages, attracting foreign investment, and positioning itself as an important manufacturing and export hub within India’s rapidly growing economy.
Alongside commercial activities, the trade show will showcase Uttar Pradesh’s cultural heritage through performances of classical music, Kathak, folk dance, folk music, bhajans, and ghazals, offering visitors an opportunity to experience the state’s cultural traditions alongside its industrial and economic progress.
