PublicSlate may use AI tools for drafting assistance, transcription, translation, summarisation, data cleaning and internal tooling. Final published journalism is reviewed by humans before it goes live.
What AI does not do alone
AI does not publish under our name without editorial review. We do not use AI to invent sources or quotes.
Images
When we use AI-generated or heavily edited images, we label them. News photographs from wires or our own desk are attributed in captions where available.
